Telephone
Computing Services provides support for on campus telephones and voice mail. Support includes fixing broken equipment, troubleshooting telephone line problems, collecting usage data on services, evaluating service needs and determining the best solutions to meet the requirements, and working with external service providers to solve problems. Telephone service may be requested by submitting a workorder to Computing Services.
At this time, the telephone lines at ASC are completely utilized. No additional lines are available. Please do not submit requests for new lines unless there is a vacant line in your building that can be moved. Identify the vacant line on the request. The limitation is being addressed via the cable plant project. Currently, ASC does not provide individual voice mail service. The option is under investigation. Each student, faculty, and staff member does have an email address thru which they can be contacted.
