Adams State student composers in concert (04-21-08)
The Adams State College Composers Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in Leon Memorial Concert Hall.
The concert will feature original compositions by student composers Antonio Lopez, Daniel Sours, Charles Dickinson, and Westley Lawrence. The program will feature a wide variety of styles and will include works for solo piano, saxophone and piano, brass trio, voice and piano, and mixed jazz combo. Also on this concert will be a set of short works for vibraphone, clarinet, and piano which aim to capture the mood of four minimalist paintings.
Tickets are free for Associated Students and Faculty and Friends of Music, $5 for adults and $1 for students. For more information call the Music Department at 719-587-7621.
