Youth Climbing Club begins at Adams State College (01-24-08)
The Adams State College Youth Climbing Club spring informational meeting begins at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, in the Student Life Center located in the Student Union Building to discuss this year's Adams State College Youth Climbing Club.
This spring, the club will meet at the Rex Activity Center from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Feb. 5, in the Rex Activity Center. The cost for the program is $60 for community and $40 for AS&F members. Admission includes gear rentals, for the entire semester, entry into the climbing competition, a t-shirt, and each parent will receive instruction on wall safety and how to belay properly.
There are 15 slots available and it is limited to youth between the ages of 6 and 14.
