Adams State College Adventure Program Raft Rentals (05-22-08)
Wolf Creek Pass received a substantial amount of snow this past winter, which means an amazing rafting season. The Adams State College Adventure Program makes it easy to go out and enjoy the river. Community members can rent a raft for $40 a day and the cost for Associated Students and Faculty is $30. This cost includes the raft, seven life jackets, seven paddles, pump, repair kit, a dry bag and a rescue rope. Adams State ASAP has two 14 foot rafts, one self-bailing and one non-self bailing; as well as a total of seven 12 foot rafts, four are self-bailing and three are non-self bailing. A 15 foot raft will soon be available. Frames and frame packages are available. Also offered are inflatable canoes and kayaks. Call and reserve your raft today at 719-587-7813. ASAP is open 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday. Get outside and play.
