Title V - Otero Junior College
Otero Junior College (OJC), located in La Junta, Colorado, is a two-year, public, associate-degree granting institution that enrolls approximately 1,500 students, 28.4 percent of whom are Latino. Established in 1941 and accredited by the North Central Association, OJC offers its students access to more than 30 academic degree and certificate programs.
OJC students rank at the top academically for all Colorado community college students who transfer to four-year programs. Upon graduation, approximately 97 percent of OJC students either transfer to a university or gain immediate employment.
